The State of Terengganu was honoured with the 'States Innovation Award' at the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (IGEM) 2024. In October 2023, Terengganu Inc, in collaboration with Invest Terengganu and our subsidiaries—TDM Berhad, EPIC Berhad, and Ladang Rakyat Trengganu—proudly represented the state at the exhibition.

This recognition highlights Terengganu Inc’s groundbreaking floating solar 9 project in Kenyir and the Terengganu Inc Group’s sustainability initiatives.

Terengganu Inc was granted two prestigious awards during the 23rd Malaysia-International HR Awards 2023, namely ‘Grand Award Winner’ and ‘Gold Award Winner’ for the Employer of Choice (Private Sector) category.

These awards reflect Terengganu Inc's commitment to excellence in human resource practices, showcasing its outstanding employee engagement and significant investments in workforce development.

The achievement of a 3-Star rating out of 4 for its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance as assessed by FTSE Russell is a notable accomplishment and reflects positively on TDM's commitment to responsible business practices.

The FT Russell rating is a half-yearly rating exercise that suggest company's are actively monitoring and improving its ESG practices over time and aligning with global sustainability standards.

The Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge received a recognition from the Malaysia Tourism Quality Assurance (MyTQA) 2023, under the category of Man Made Tourism with a Gold rating. A recognition awarded by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) for the period of 4 September 2023 until 3 September 2026. The Gold rating signifies a high level of quality and service, making the Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge, operated by TI Properties Sdn Bhd, a standout attraction.

The MyTQA program is an initiative by MOTAC to acknowledge tourism products in Malaysia that meet the specified standards and qualifications. The evaluation process is carried out by the MyTQA Program Assessment Panel, consisting of representatives from government agencies and relevant industry stakeholders appointed by MOTAC.

SATU was announced the winner of the 'Water Technology Excellence Award (Digital Technology)' and 'Water Quality Improvement Project of the Year' at the International Asian Power Awards 2023. An event recognizing innovative projects and successfully pioneering new initiatives for the water sector.

The winning proves SATU's commitment to create innovation in the water industry in Malaysia and in fulfilling its mission, said Ts Abdul Karim bin Endut the Chief Executive Officer.

Two of KMI Healthcare chain of hospitals, KMI Kuantan Medical Centre and KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre is now has been recognized as Baby Friendly Hospital. The BFH accreditation is awarded by Ministry of Health Malaysia. Their commitment to supportive and successful breastfeeding is vital for new mothers, their babies and the health of the nation.

KMI Taman Desa Medical Centre has been awarded the Best Multi Disciplinary Community Specialist Hospital in the BrandLaureate BestBrands Award 2023 held on 6th Dec 2023 at The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The award was presented to KMI Taman Desa Medical Centre's General Manager -Puan Norliza Razali by The World Brands Foundation’s (TWBF) world president Dr KK Johan, chairman Tan Sri Rainer Althoff, advisor Professor Dr. Uichol Kim and Ms Globe 2023- Ms. Manvin Khera during the ceremony.

TDM Berhad, a subsidiary of Terengganu Inc, was awarded the 'Sustainability Rising Star' at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) 2023 Awards, recognising its outstanding commitment to sustainable practices and contributions to environmental stewardship within the corporate sector.

This accolade highlights TDM Berhad's efforts in implementing innovative solutions that promote sustainability and serve as a model for other organizations striving to achieve similar goals.

KMI Kuantan Medical Centre was awarded first place for the SOHELP (Systematic Occupational Health Enhancement Level Programme) DIY Workplace (Category 3), a recognition that underscores its exemplary efforts in enhancing occupational health and safety standards within the workplace.

The award highlights the Centre's commitment to fostering a safe and healthy working environment for its employees through innovative practices and continuous improvement initiatives. The awarding ceremony took place at the National SOHELP DIY Convention held at IDCC, Shah Alam, Selangor, on 22 August 2023, bringing together industry leaders and professionals to celebrate achievements in workplace health and safety.
