Faizah Ahmad joined Terengganu Inc. in November 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) with honors from UiTM Shah Alam and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur in 2002. Faizah commenced her career as a litigation lawyer with Messrs V Siva and Partners.
With extensive professional background, Faizah brings over 15 years of experience, having worked in diverse roles across government-linked and public-listed companies, including notable organizations such as Johor Corporation, Metroplex Berhad, Patimas Computers Berhad, the Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP) and Companies Commission of Malaysia. During her tenure with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), she served as a Senior Prosecutor, accumulating extensive experience in prosecution matters over a 7-year period.
In pursuit of new challenges, Faizah transitioned to the corporate sector, leaving her role at SSM in 2014. She embraced a new focus area by joining a Multi-National Company as General Counsel, where she oversaw legal affairs for Malaysia and Singapore.
Faizah has been awarded the Statement of Attainment for Business Management Workforce Skills (BM WSQ) Qualification: Facilitate Compliance with Legislative and Regulatory Requirements. This recognition was bestowed upon her by the Singapore National Employers Federation in October 2014, following the successful completion of the Fundamentals of The Personal Data Act.
