YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Azmi is currently the State Financial Officer of Terengganu. He was the Director of Yayasan Terengganu since April 2021 prior to assuming his role as the State Financial Officer of Terengganu.
YB Dato' Haji Mohd Azmi joined the Terengganu Civil Service in 2001. He started as the Assistant Director (Socio-Economics) at the Terengganu State Economic Planning Unit and later continued his service at the State Secretary’s Office as Manager of the Kenyir Lake Development Unit until 31 March 2011.
On 1 April 2011, YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Azmi assumed the role of ‘Penolong Pengelola’ and was appointed as ‘Dato’ Pengelola Bijaya DiRaja’ on 3 January 2016, serving in the position until 21 June 2020. On 22 June 2020, he returned to the Terengganu State Economic Planning Unit as the Deputy Director (Macro and Regional), a position he held until 21 October 2020.
He then became the Director of Lembaga Sumber Air Terengganu (LAUT) until 31 March 2021 prior to being appointed as the Director of Yayasan Terengganu.
